NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Cornell men's tennis team closed its 2023 fall season this weekend at the Yale Invitational from the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. Cornell picked up 14 wins across doubles and singles competitions.

Senior Bradley Paliska had a strong weekend, going a perfect 3-0 in singles play, with all three coming in straight sets. Paliska had to work for his final victory on the weekend Sunday, as he matched up against Penn's Manfredi Graziani. But the senior would pull through, defeating Graziani 6-4, 7-5. Paliska was not the only one who went undefeated on the weekend for the Big Red, as Aman Sharma picked up victories over Brown's Alex Finkelstein (6-7, 6-1, 7-5) and Yale's Roee Benya (6-3, 6-3) to finish 2-0. Other notables for the Big Red in singles included Noah Eisenberg and Samuel Paquette, who went 2-1. 

There was also action on the doubles side for Cornell, as the Big Red picked up five victories. Petar Teodorovic and Eric Verdes went 2-1 in their fall debut together, as the sophomore and freshman duo went 2-1 on the weekend, picking up victories over Penn's Manfredi Graziani/Luka Butera (7-5) and Dartmouth's Henry Ren and Myles Groom (7-6). Nathan Mao and Aman Sharma also went 2-1 on the weekend for the Big Red, including a 6-2 victory over Yale's Luke Neal and Dylan Tsoi on Sunday. 

The Yale Invitational is the final tournament of the fall season for the Big Red. Cornell will begin its spring season on Saturday, Jan. 24, when it hosts Buffalo and Niagara from the Reis Tennis Center.
