PHILADELPHIA — The No. 5-ranked Cornell women's squash team fell to No. 4-ranked Drexel, 7-2, on Friday evening at the Kline & Specter Squash Center.

Sivasangari Subramaniam and freshman
Alysa Ali were the lone Big Red players to earn victories in the match.
Subramaniam posted a three-game victory over Alina Bushma at the No. 1 position, while Ali defeated Emma Bartley in five games at No. 6.
Drexel opened the match with the first two victories before Subramaniam and Ali evened the contest at 2-all.
The Dragons took the remaining matches, conceding just three games — two of which came from
Wen Li Lai at the No. 2 spot on the ladder. Lai lost in five games to Karina Tyma, as the two traded games until Tyma prevailed in the fifth, 11-5.
