ITHACA, N.Y. -Â Cornell men's track and field took the course this weekend at the Kane Invitational and RIT Meet. Tom Kersulis sits atop of the Ivy-League record books after his blazing time of 45.78 in the 400-meter dash.
Kersulis registered two first-place finishes in Boston, coming with his record-breaking time in the 400 meter dash and the 200 meter dash (21.05). Cornell placed fourth in the 4x400 out of a field of 49 groups.Â
Sam Ayers had an impressive outing in the 800 meter event placing 28th out of 332 runners (1:50.53).Â
Brady Shute had good production in the 800 meter, finishing 54th (1:52.06).Â
Pelham Bergesen finished 15th in the 1000 meter run (2:25.68).Â
Rhys Hammond notched a 32nd-place finish in the mile (3:58.24).Â
Perry Mackinnon was a 35th place finisher in the 3000 meter run (7:57.01).
Brad Morell's 20.23-meter weight throw and 16.74 shot put was enough to give him first-place in both events.
Shane Racey came in second in the pole vault with his 5.10-meter mark.
Curtis Weh notched a second-place finish in the long-jump.
Jamaur Williamson registered a 14.84-meter triple jump to put him atop the leaderboard.
