Softball Falls to Presbyterian at Stetson Classic, 5-3

ITHACA, N.Y. - Big Red softball took the diamond with Presbyterian for the second time this weekend. The Blue Hose took the first game of the weekend against Cornell to continue it's undefeated season. The Big Red gave it a shot the second time around but was not successful as they fell to Presbyterian 5-3.

Ella Harrod, Sydney Stapf, and Emma Antich provided one run each for the Big Red, with a solid hand from Julie Hilcken who finished the day with two RBI. Lauren Holt led the way for Cornell in hits with two on just three at-bats. Kyrie Denny dropped her second game at the mound this weekend allowing four runs including one homer. Denny struck out two Blue Hose hitters at the plate.
