ITHACA, N.Y. - Men's track and field took the course at Barton Hall for competition at the Kane Invitational. The Big Red came in to the Kane Invitational on a streak of record-breaking weekends.
Brad Morel had a productive outing, earning two first-place finishes, coming in the shot put (16.13) and weight throw (18.39).
Jamaur Williamson (14.81) and
Jelani Williams (14.40) took the top two spots in the triple jump, respectively.
Smith Charles notched a pair of second place finishes in the long jump (6.91) and the high jump (1.92).
Alec Hill led the way in the mile with a mark of 4:19.27 followed by Big Red sprinters
Andy O'Brien (4:20.57) and
Quinn Baker (4:22.91) who finished in second and third, respectively.
Gabe Czako (fourth) and
Ryder King (fifth)Â recorded top-five finishes in the 300m final.
Caleb Straayer's efforts in the 800m was enough to place him second (2:00.50).
Kyle Kimble represented the Big Red among eight runners in the 60m hurdles, registering a fifth place finish with a time of 8.27.

The Big Red will be back in competition on Feb. 11 for the Valentine Meet hosted by Boston University.
