Asherah Horsley finished 16th among 24 of the top foil fencers in the country at the 2023 NCAA Fencing Championships that concluded on Sunday afternoon at Durham Indoor Arena. The Big Red finished 25th overall at the championships.
After going 7-8 on day one, the two-time NCAA qualifier was 3-5 on Sunday to finish with a 10-13 mark, just three bouts outside of the top eight. She defeated two fencers that placed above her in No. 12 Emme Zhou of Yale and No. 14 Crytal Qian of Stanford on the final day.
She bettered her 2022 finish (20th) and finished the season with a 61-38 mark.

Asherah Horsley is positioned in 15th place, two wins out of the top 10, after three rounds on day one of the 2023 NCAA Fencing Championship at Durham Indoor Arena. Horsley will have two rounds on Sunday morning to try and move up among 24 of the nation's top foil fencers.
Horsley was 7-8 in her 15 bouts on Saturday, defeating three fencers ranked above her, including No. 8 Sabrina Cho of Ivy rival Penn. She'll fencing eight more times on Sunday in an attempt to climb the ladder. The two-time NCAA qualifier was 20th at NCAAs last season and sports a 58-33 record this year.
