ITHACA, N.Y. - Softball will host central New York foe Binghamton on Tuesday for its opening game of the year from Neimand-Robison Field. The Big Red will come into the matchup with a 8-8 (2-1, Ivy-League) record, whereas the Bearcats enter with a 13-7 (2-0, AEC) record.

Cornell vs Binghamton Rewind
In the most recent matchup, the only thing that quieted the Cornell bats was darkness as the Big Red rallied past Binghamton 11-8 on March 30, 2022 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The Big Red led 11-10 after three innings in game two before conditions were no longer safe to play in. The Big Red improved to 5-11, while the Bearcats slipped to 12-12. Cornell rallied from five runs down in both games, taking its offensive frustrations out by scoring 21 runs over a six-inning span
