ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women's tennis team will welcome Binghamton to the Reis Tennis Center on Saturday for an early-morning clash between Central New York rivals.
Doubles action between the Bearcats and Big Red is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
Cornell (3-11, 0-1 Ivy) is coming off a 5-2 setback to Columbia in the Big Red's Ivy League-opening contest. Sophomore

Scouting Binghamton
Binghamton enters Saturday's match with a 1-18 overall record. The Bearcats snapped its 17-match losing streak to open the season with a 4-3 victory over Wagner on March 17.
The match will be Binghamton's fourth against an Ivy League opponent this season. Brown, Princeton, and Columbia all posted sweeps over the Bearcats.
Saturday's match will be Binghamton's first since March 18 when it fell to Temple, 7-0.
Natalia Aruj has posted an 8-8 record over the top two singles positions this season. Aruj's eight victories in singles are six more than any other player.
Cornell has won the last 10 matches over Binghamton since dropping consecutive matches in 2009 and 2010. The Big Red has posted 7-0 victories in five of its last six matches against the Bearcats, as the lone non-sweep victory came in a 6-1 win on Jan. 27, 2019.
Looking Ahead
Following Saturday's Central New York clash, the Big Red will return to Ivy League play when it welcomes Penn to the Reis Tennis Center on Friday, April 7, for a 2 p.m. match against the Quakers.
