ITHACA, N.Y. - Cornell men's track and field teamed up with Ivy-League counterpart, University of Pennsylvania for competitions against the Achilles Club (Cambridge and Oxford) at the historic Transatlantic Series. The Big Red and the Quakers defeated the Cambridge-Oxford duo, 13-6.
The men took care of business, accumulating 11 team points for the Cornell-Penn squad. Dominic Baressi had a hand in that, zooming his way to a Cornell record 10.38-second 100-meter dash to take the top of the leaderboard. The speedy
Tomas Kersulis eclipsed his personal and school record in the 400-meter dash with a finish of 45.90 seconds (first-place).
