CORTLAND, N.Y. - Women's track and field took a trip up the road on Tuesday to compete in the Cortland Challenge.
Phoebe Price-Roberts rewrote the Cornell hammer throw history with her 56.61 meter launch to claim the top spot in the Big Red record books. Price-Roberts upended her own record, which was previously set at 56.24 meters.
The Big Red earned 10 first-place results on the day including
Kaitlyn Roffman (1500-meter run), Aniyah Walters (100-meter hurdles), Marge Dalseth (3000-meter steeplechase), Maddie Poole (800-meter run),
Zahra Kelsey (200-meter dash),
Abby Nonnenberg (discus),
Noelle Elkinton (shot put),
Dea Fackovic-Volcanjk (triple-jump), and
Margaux Rawson (high jump), and Price-Roberts (hammer throw).
