Penn Relays On Deck For Big Red Track and Field

PHILADELPHIA, Pa - Cornell track and field gets set to travel to Philadelphia for competitions at the Penn Relays. Dating back to 1895, this is the largest meet in the outdoor season calendar. The Big Red looks forward to showing its best at one of the biggest meets this season.
 
Women's Track and Field
The women marked impressive results last year at Penn Relays and have hopes to repeat this success. Victoria Atkinson will be an athlete to watch in the pole-vault. She has recently produced a series of impressive results, including recently threatening to break her own school record. Ama Boham is a speedy hurdles sprinter who will have a spotlight on her this weekend in Philadelphia. This will be the final tune up before heading to the Ivy-League Heptagonal Championship. 
 
Men's Track and Field
The men aim to take strides this weekend in the city of brotherly love. Vicentejordan Vanderlipe will have eyes on him as he continues to top the pole-vault marks in the recent meets. Tomas Kersulis is an athlete to observe, as he has continually showed out on the course in the sprints for the Big Red. Penn Relays will be the last meet before the men face their Ivy counterparts at Heps.
