PRINCETON, N.J. — The Cornell women's tennis team was swept by No. 48-ranked Princeton, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon.
Princeton improved to 12-6 overall on the year and 3-0 in Ivy League play with the victory, while Cornell fell to 4-13 overall and 0-3 in the Ivy League.
The Tigers claimed the doubles point after winning the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches.
Straight-set victories at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 6 singles solidifed the four-match sweep for Princeton.
Looking Ahead
Cornell will return to action next weekend when it hosts No. 67-ranked Harvard on Saturday and Dartmouth on Sunday in its final two home matches of the season. Both contests are slated to begin at 1 p.m.
