ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell volleyball team (7-3) hits the road to continue Ivy League play this weekend traveling to both Hanover, New Hampshire and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Cornell takes on Dartmouth (7-4) Friday before completing the weekend trip at Harvard (6-4) Saturday.

COLUMBIA RECAP
The Cornell volleyball team defeated their first Ivy Leage opponent in a reverse sweep in 3-2 win over Columbia. The attack was led by Eliza Konvicka with a season-high 22 kills and 11 digs. The Konvicka also added four blocks and three aces. The junior outside hitter posted double-figure kills for the eight time this season and ranks third in the conference.
Jackie Baker (14), Konvicka (11) and Kohanihokuao Misipeka (10) all dug up double-digit balls in the back row for the Big Red. With 13 kills against Columbia, Mackenize Parsons tallied her fourth consecutive game with double-digit kills while contributing five aces, five digs and four blocks. Baker crossed the 600-career dig milestone (605) in the contest.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
Dartmouth is 7-4 on the seasons so far with one loss in conference play against Harvard. Last season, The Big Red fell to Dartmouth in both meetings, but the Big Green are coming off a four-set loss to Bryant on the road.
Kauany Gutz led the attack for Dartmouth with 13 kills and digs and two aces against the Bulldogs with Molly Powers as a consistent force at the net averaging 1.11 blocks per set.
Emma Engstrom is ranked first in the conference in digs with 167 total and averaging 3.63. Dartmouth currently led the conference in digs per set (14.83) and total digs at 682
SCOUTING HARVARD
Harvard is 6-4 on the season coming off a 3-1 win in its Ivy League Opener against Dartmouth.
In the game against Dartmouth, Brynne Faltinsky had a match-high of 20 kills, followed by eight digs. Rocky Aguirre compiled a double-double on a match-high 41 assists and 15 digs. Lindsey Zhang posted a match-high of 21 digs. Ali Farquhar made nine kills and six block assists, finishing with a .318 hitting percentage for this match.
The Crimson totaled 20 blocks, Bennett Trubey tallied a match-high of 10 blocks on nine block assists and one block solo. Ryleigh Patterson also added nine blocks.
UP NEXT
Cornell will continue its road series at Yale Oct. 11 and Brown Oct.12 before hosting Penn and Princeton at Newman Arena.
