The Last Time Out - vs Brown
The Cornell mens soccer team played to a draw with Ivy League foe Brown by a score of 1-1 on Saturday afternoon at Berman Field. Freshman forward Alex Harris extended his point streak to five with his goal in the 18th minute.

The first goal came 18 minutes into the contest when Matthew Goncalves intercepted Brown goaltender Henrik Weiper's attempt to throw the ball into play, sparking a two-versus-one break. Goncalves found Ivy League points leader Harris streaking across the field for the opening tally of the contest.

Brown capitalized on a costly penalty in the box, which allowed Brown goals leader Dadzie Kojo to knot the game up on a penalty kick in the second half. Junior forward Danny Loko would attempt a pair of grade-A shots late in the second period, sending both wide.

The clock wound down seconds after the Big Red attempted a corner to no avail, leaving the count at 1-1.

Big Red Players To Watch
Alex Harris - The sophomore forward puts pressure on goaltenders, as he currently stands at 28 points on 12 goals and four assists. The stand-out Cornellian produced his first-career hat-trick against Dartmouth, ushering the Big Red to a 3-0 victory. Harris has registered seven multi-point games on the year and has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of The Week on two occasions. He is on pace to notch 35 points in the regular season alone, which would rank him fifth in Cornell history.

Alioune Ka - Ka has been a reliable goal-scorer for the Big Red in the early season. He continues to be shifty in the offensive zone, consistently finding goals in timely situations. He currently holds 12 points on the year on fivegoals and two assists.

Connor Miller - Miller has been a catalyst for the Big Red. He has registered 13 points coming on three goals and seven assists. Miller sets up his teammates for timely goals and has a knack for the moment, owning two game-winners for Cornell.

Ryan Friedberg - Friedberg has played every minute in net for the Big Red so far this season. He has posted a 9-2-2 record to go along with six shutouts. Through 12 games, he has already doubled his previous season-high in shutouts. Friedberg backs up a strong back-line with poise and focus. He has faced 114 shots this season, allowing just 13 to get by him (.762).
