#20 Big Red Travels To Princeton On Saturday For Ivy League Matchup

PRINCETON, N.J. - The no. 20-ranked Cornell men's soccer team gets set to travel to take on Ivy League-foe Princeton on Saturday, October 12th at 4:00 p.m. at Myslik Field at Roverts Stadium.

Dartmouth Recap
The Cornell men's soccer team defeated the Dartmouth Big Green 3-0 on Saturday evening at Berman Field. The Big Red improved to 7-1-2, while the Big Green dropped to 4-4-1.

Alex Harris registered all three Big Red goals, notching the first hat-trick of his Cornell career. Connor Miller (three), and Sam Latona were credited with helpers. Ryan Friedberg earned two saves and collected his fifth shutout of the season.

The Last Time Out - vs Princeton
The Cornell men's soccer earned it's first Ivy League win of the season last year when it took down Princeton 5-1 on a rainy Saturday evening at Berman Field in front of an active array of Big Red alumni and fans. Cornell freshman all-time goals leader Alex Harris and junior forward Alioune Ka netted two goals apiece, along with freshman forward Balazs Feher finding the back of the net for a tally.

Big Red Players To Watch
Alex Harris - The sophomore forward puts pressure on goaltenders, as he currently stands at 21 points on nine goals and three assists. The stand-out Cornellian registered his first-career hat-trick on Saturday against Dartmouth, ushering the Big Red to a 3-0. His total of nine points in the two games last week garnered him Ivy League Offensive Player of The Week honors.

Alioune Ka - Ka has been a reliable goal-scorer for the Big Red in the early season. He continues to be shifty in the offensive zone, consistently finding goals in timely situations. He currently holds 10 points on the year on 4 goals and two assists.

Connor Miller - Miller has been a catalyst. He has registered 11 points coming on three goals and five assists. He notched the game-winning goal against the Syracuse Orange.

Ryan Friedberg - Friedberg has played every minute in net for the Big Red so far this season. He has posted a 7-1-2 record to go along with five shutouts. Friedberg earned Ivy League Honor Roll distinctions for his seven-save, two-victory week.
