ITHACA, N.Y. - Alex Harris becomes the first Cornellian to be named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year. Freshman defender Aidan Martin was named Ivy League Rookie of The Year, giving Cornell the award for the third consecutive season.

"Alex's ability to follow up his impressive 12-goal freshman season with 16 goals this year speaks volumes, and his accomplishments truly merit the recognition he's receiving. Connor Miller has been instrumental in Alex's success, so it's fantastic to see the league's coaches also acknowledge his impact by voting him in unanimously", John Smith, the Dr. Daniel P. Wood Head Coach of Men's Soccer mentioned. "Aidan's regular season ended on a high note, receiving the Rookie of the Year award—a wonderful moment for him and our program", Smith added.

Eight members of the Big Red were honored with All-Ivy recognitions. Harris (unanimous), Connor Miller (unanimous), Ryan Friedberg, Andrew Johnson, and Alioune Ka were named on the first-team. A pair of Big Red rookies, Martin and Justin Melly, were deemed honorable-mention. Sam Latona was recognized as Cornell's Academic All-Ivy recipient.

"Securing five players on the First Team in such a competitive league is a tremendous tribute to the group's quality. We're thrilled to see Ryan, Alioune, and Andrew joining Connor and Alex on the First Team. It's also incredibly exciting to have two of our freshmen, Aidan and Justin, earn All-Ivy consideration", Smith concluded with.
