ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell equestrian team is gearing up for a double show weekend at Nazareth as it will compete in Nazareth Show I on Saturday, Nov. 16 and Nazareth Show II on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The Big Red is coming into this weekend with three first place finishes and one second place finish under its belt.

In Cornell's last time out, which was at Alfred Show I on October 26, the Big Red earned the title of High Point Team. Riley Gerardo (open flat), Jillian Steinmetz (intermediate fences), Gillian Roche (limit flat), Jillian Ryan (limit fences) and Sunny Liu (Novice) all recorded first place finishes for the Big Red. Erin Morera (open fences), Caly Stewart (intermediate flat), Emma Basher (limit flat) and Jenna Stickley (introductory) all recorded second place finishes for Cornell.

The two shows this weekend at Nazareth mark the final shows of the fall season for the Cornell Equestrian team, so they will do their best to finish out fall competition on a high note on Saturday, Nov. 16 and Sunday, Nov. 17 in Rochester.
