CHAPEL HILL, NC — Senior Adit Sinha defeated his round-of-16 opponent and has moved on to the quarterfinal round of the ITA Division I Men's Singles East Sectional Championship.

Sinha faced Vladislav Melnic of UNC Chapel Hill on Friday and won the match 6-1, 6-1.

Senior Nathan Mao also competed in the round-of-16, but fell to Cooper Williams of Duke University 6-2, 6-3, which knocked him out of tournament play. 

Sinha will compete in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 9.
