CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Five players scored in double figures as the Cornell men's basketball won its seventh straight with an 89-76 victory at Harvard on Saturday evening at Lavietes Pavilion. The Big Red improved to 17-3 (6-0 Ivy) with the victory, while the Crimson slipped to 11-8 (2-4 Ivy).

The Big Red win sets up a first-place Ivy League showdown with fellow unbeaten Yale on Feb. 10 in New Haven, Conn. Yale topped Penn 74-58 to keep pace with the Big Red atop the standings entering the midpoint of the season.

Isaiah Gray scored 17 points and added six rebounds while Guy Ragland Jr. netted 16 on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor to go with five boards. AK Okereke's career-high 15 points, Chris Manon's 13 points, four rebounds and four assists and Sean Hansen's 10 points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists also contributed to Cornell's first win in Cambridge since 2019. Nazir Williams added seven points, six assists and three boards and Cooper Noard also scored seven. Cornell shot 53 percent from the floor overall, hit on 11-of-28 3-pointers and earned 12 steals as part of 17 Harvard turnovers.

Malik Mack scored 19 points to lead Harvard, while Chisom Okpara, Louis Lesmond and Thomas Batties II each scored 10 for the Crimson. Harvard shot 53 percent from the floor in the loss and held a 31-29 edge on the glass.



Cornell led by as many as nine in the first half and eventually 38-35 at the break, but the Big Red broke it open after halftime and controlled tempo throughout. An 11-4 run out of the locker room pushed the Cornell lead to double figures and the Crimson never got within seven. It was Ragland who responded to the Crimson's creep with consecutive baskets, including a putback for a three-point play. 

The Big Red carved up the Crimson over the final 10 minutes, making 8-of-11 shots over a seven-minute span to pull away. In all, Cornell shot 63 percent from the floor after halftime and made 13-of-14 free throws to remain unbeaten in conference action.
