ITHACA, N.Y. -- Senior Chris Manon and junior Nazir Williams captured All-Ivy League honors when the conference announced its postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon. Manon was a first-team pick and Williams captured second-team accolades when the squads were revealed after being voted on by the league's eight head coaches.

Manon makes his first All-Ivy League team after pacing the team in scoring (12.6 ppg.) and the conference in steals (2.2 spg.), while sitting second on the Big Red in rebounds (4.0 rpg.), assists (3.0 apg.), blocked shots (15) and field goal percentage (.575) despite playing just 22.0 minutes per game. Manon played in all 28 contests with 27 starts and has reached double figures in scoring in his last 13 contests against Division I opponents. A two-time Ivy League Player of the Week, Manon scored 20 points with six rebounds, four assists and five steals in a win at Robert Morris, made 9-of-11 field goals en route to 22 points at Yale and netted 25 with four steals in a victory over Dartmouth. Manon enters the Ivy league Tournament second in career steals (172) and sixth in field goal percentage (.540) in school history.

Williams makes his second consecutive All-Ivy team after capturing honorable mention accolades as a sophomore. The junior is averaging 11.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 27 contests this year - numbers that jump to 14.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists against Ivy competition. He netted a career-high 24 points against Columbia, notched 20 points with eight rebounds in a victory over Princeton and netted 23 points with six boards and five assists in the return game against the Tigers.

The duo have played an important part in the Big Red's 22-6 record and second-place finish in the conference standings. The team ranks in the top five all-time at Cornell in points (second, 2323), field goals made (second, 842), 3-pointers made (third, 288), scoring average (third, 83.0), steals (third, 238), and assists (fourth, 518).

In addition, senior Keller Boothby was named to the Academic All-Ivy team. One of the greatest shooters in school history, he ranks among the school's all-time leaders in 3-pointers made (11th, 147) and percentage (fifth, .419) while sporting a 3.39 grade point average in Economics.

The Big Red will face Yale in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals on Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at Columbia's Levien Gymnasium. The game will be televised live on ESPNews.
