ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell women's tennis is coming off the heels of handing Buffalo just its third loss of the season with a 5-2 road victory on Saturday, March 2. The Big Red looks to make a winning streak out of it when the team takes on Delaware on Saturday, March 9 at 4:30 p.m. and Drexel on Sunday, March 10 and 10 a.m. Matches against the Blue Hens will go down at the Sea Colony Tennis Resort in Bethany Beach, Del., while those against Drexel will go down at the Dragons' home court in Philadelphia, Pa.
Cornell and Delaware have met once in program history, The meeting, played on Jan. 28, 2023, went the way of the Blue Hens, 5-2. The match against Drexel marks the first in Cornell history.
Cornell is back home next weekend to host St. Bonaventure on Saturday, March 16. Doubles matches are set to begin at 12 p.m. in the Reis Tennis Center.
