Sam Miller led the Lions' potent offensive attack by going 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI. Griffin Palfrey, Anton Lazits, and Cole Fellows all had two-hit days.

Tommy Santana allowed four baserunners during his seven shutout innings for Columbia (23-14, 15-3 Ivy League), issuing one walk and striking out eight Cornell batters. James Vaughn and JD Odgen aided the Lions to its two-hit shutout as they combined to strikeout five of the six batters they faced, including Vaughn registering an immaculate inning in the eighth.

Junior third baseman Max Jensen and freshman shortstop Kevin Hager registered the base hits for Cornell (13-17, 10-8 Ivy League).
