Augustine Haquet set a personal-best in the 1500-meter dash on Saturday evening in the NCAA quarterfinals. Haquet clocked a 4:14.09 which placed her ninth in heat two and 16th overall in the East. She moved herself up the Cornell all-time rankings to the second spot after the strong performance in her NCAA quarterfinals debut.
Marge Dalseth joined Haquet as one of two Big Red competitors on the final day as she competed in the 3000 steeplechase, finishing in 40th-place overall. She put herself in a strong competitive position among the pack at the start of the race, and continued on with a consistent performance throughout to collect a 16th-place finish in her heat during her first-ever competition at NCAA's.
