ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell men's track and field will host the Southern Tier Invite, its second home event of the season, on Saturday Jan. 11 in Barton Hall.

The Southern Tier Invitational will start at 10 a.m. with the men's weight throw as the first field event and the 60m hurdles shortly after at 12:30 p.m. To see the full list of events and event times click HERE.

Cornell is joined in the field by Colgate, D'Youville, Hartwick, Ithaca, Oneonta and St. John Fisher.
LAST TIME OUT
Before the holiday break, the Big Red kicked off their season with the Greg Page Relay in Barton Hall and Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener hosted by Boston University. The men's team walked away from GPR with six first-place finishes including Ryder King in the 60m hurdles and Desmond Whitley in the triple jump with a career-best 14.67m jump in his first attempt.
In Boston, Pierre Attiogbe broke the school record in the indoor 3000m run with a time of 7:51.84 to place 16th in the field of 113. Derek Amicon and Damian Hackett both competed in the 5000m. Amicon ran a time of 13:45.39 to set a new school indoor record. Hackett finished right behind him with a time of 13:48.02 to land himself second in the record books for the indoor 5000m run.
