ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell men's cross country team delivered a flawless performance on its home course Friday evening, sweeping the top nine spots against Colgate to win the John Reif Memorial in commanding fashion.

Junior Adam Martinson set the tone up front, breaking the tape in 15:23.3 to secure the individual title. He was closely followed by freshman Griffin Cords (15:27.2) and junior Tyler Tisinger (15:28.4) as Cornell locked in a 1–2–3 punch within the first mile and never looked back.

The Big Red continued to pour it on as sophomore Asher Patel (15:37.1) and freshman Will Hauser (15:41.3) completed the sweep of the scoring positions, all five finishing under 15:42.

Cornell didn't stop there — the team claimed the top nine overall before Colgate's first runner crossed the line. Freshman Ben Gibson and senior Zachary Winnicki rounded out the top seven in 15:49.5 and 15:59.4, respectively.

Friday's dominant effort capped a strong regular season for the Big Red, who now turn their attention to the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships next weekend.
