Mike Henderson, the Alan B. '53 and Elizabeth Heekin Harris Head Coach of Cross Country, when asked about his outlook on Heps at the beginning of the season shared that, "The Ivy League is one of the strongest leagues in the country, we genuinely are. It's very competitive, Harvard and Princeton will inevitably be strong and we expect both of them to be at nationals as well. On the women's side, places 3rd through 8th are always really close which makes competition fun and exciting… but it also means you've got to be on your game."

Last year, the women's squad finished 6th and are looking to move up the ranks this year and based on their performance thus far this fall, they may do just that. What it comes down to, as Coach Henderson shared, "is who shows up the day of the race and puts it together."
