ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell women's cross country closed out their regular season in dominant fashion Friday night, sweeping Colgate at the John Reif Memorial on the familiar Moakley Course.

Junior Emma O'Day pulled away early and never looked back, crossing the line in 18:44.3 to capture the individual title. Senior Katja Jackson locked down the 1–2 finish for the Big Red just seven seconds back in 18:51.8, giving Cornell a comfortable lead they would not relinquish.

Freshman Sophia Comfere continued to impress in her debut season, placing fourth overall in 19:59.5 as the Big Red put three inside the top four. Senior Cara Hliboki secured another scoring spot in 20:43.2, finishing seventh to round out Cornell's scoring pack.

Cornell claimed four of the top seven places overall and comfortably outpaced Colgate in the dual-style scoring.

The John Reif Memorial serves as Cornell's final tune-up ahead of the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, where the Big Red will return to conference competition next weekend.
