ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell senior Cooper Noard has been named the Ivy League Men's Basketball Co-Offensive Player of the Week following his strong performance this past week in a road victory over Lafayette. The award is Noard's first weekly honor and is shared with Princeton's Dalen Davis.

Noard exploded for 26 points and added six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 28 minutes of action during the Big Red's 97-78 triumph at Lafayette this past Thursday. He made 9-of-15 field goals, including 5-of-10 3-pointers, and didn't commit a turnover to help Cornell pick up its first victory of the season. Noard scored 14 of his points in the first five minutes of the decisive second half as the Big Red extended a six-point halftime lead to 18 and cruised to the victory. Noard also hit all three of his free-throw attempts.

For the season, Noard ranks second nationally in scoring (26.3 ppg.) and is 29th in 3-pointers made per game (3.67) while adding 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while splitting a 52-38-91 in three contests for the Big Red (1-2). Cornell opens its 2025-26 home slate when it welcomes Army West Point to Newman Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. The contest will be broadcast on ESPN+.
