SCOUTING TRINITY
Trinity enters Wednesday's match as the No. 2-ranked team in the College Squash Association (CSA) rankings. The Bantams bring back nine returners from last year's national championship squad and are coming off a pair of 9-0 victories in their opening New England Small Colleges Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matches, defeating No. 15 Williams on the road before cruising past No. 13 Tufts in the program's home opener at the brand-new Kovas Squash Center.
Seniors Kara Lincou and Hannah Chukwu serve as co-captains for the Bantams. Chukwu, a two-time CSA All-American and three-time All-NESCAC Second Team honoree, posted a 14-2 record last season. Lincou earned All-NESCAC Second Team recognition as Trinity captured its 18th consecutive conference championship and second straight national title.
Under head coach Lauren Patrizio, now in her second season, Trinity continues its dominance as one of college squash's premier programs. The Bantams concluded last season with an 18-1 record, suffering its only loss in a 5-4 match against Princeton on Jan. 12. Since that setback against the Tigers, Trinity has won 15 consecutive matches and holds an impressive 50-2 record over its last 52 contests dating back to the start of the 2022-23 season.
SERIES HISTORY WITH TRINITY
Trinity holds a commanding 23-0 edge in the all-time series against Cornell, including an 8-0 record in matches played at the Belkin Squash Courts.
