ORLANDO, Fla. -- Cornell's doubles team of junior
Felipe Pinzon and senior
Petar Teodorovic saw their postseason run come to an end Thursday afternoon with a 6-1, 7-6 (9-7) loss to TCU's Cosme Rolland De Ravel and Albert Pedrico Kravtsov in the opening round of the 2025 NCAA Men's Tennis Doubles Championship at the USTA National Campus.
After dropping the first set, Pinzon and Teodorovic battled back in the second, forcing a tiebreak that went down to the wire before the fifth-ranked Horned Frog duo held on to secure the straight-sets victory.
The Big Red tandem earned its place in the 32-team national field by winning the ITA New England Regional Championship earlier this fall, marking Cornell's second straight season with NCAA representation. Pinzon and Teodorovic were one of three Ivy League doubles teams to qualify for this year's championship, joining pairs from Penn and Princeton.
