ITHACA, N.Y. - Cornell men's soccer athletes Andrew Johnson and Connor Miller have secured United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Northeast Region honors.

"It's exciting to see both Connor and Andrew receive first team all-region recognition. They consistently performed well for us this year and were two of the main guys in helping propel us to another very strong season.", John Smith, the Dr. Daniel P. Wood Head Coach of Men's Soccer added.

Senior Johnson anchored the Cornell back-line, leading the team to a top-ten defense in the nation along with producing seven points on three goals and one assist. Junior Miller was a force in the midfield, making himself known for generating opportunities for Cornell as he registered 14 points on four goals and six assists. Johnson (1,674 minutes) and Miller (1,638 minutes) were both reliable on the pitch finishing third and fourth on the team in minutes played on their way to first-team All-Ivy selections this past season.
