Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. --- Cornell women's tennis extended its winning streak to three as it defeated St. Bonaventure 6-1 on Saturday. The Big Red move to 4-2 on the season with the victory over the Bonnies.
The match began with doubles as
Sage Loudon and
Martina Marica defeated Kashish Bote and Kelly Barnes 6-3 and Andrea Martinez and
Alexandra Savu defeated Tamara Bachmann and Sienna Smith 6-3. The third doubles match went unfinished and the Big Red took the first point of the match.
The Big Red continued its command over the match going 5-1 in singles play. Loudon defeated Cirkeline Lundburg 7-5, 7-6(1), Wong defeated Isabella Venter 6-4, 6-4,
Emma Baker defeated Bachmann 6-2, 6-2, Savu defeated Bote 6-1, 6-1 and
Seychelle Balog defeated Barnes 6-1, 6-1.
Smith had St. Bonaventure's lone win as she defeated
Tanya Fan in a tight mach 6-0, 5-7, 10-12.
