ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell women's track and field set a school record at the Alex Wilson Invitational in Indianna while eight individuals took home the gold at the Marc Deneault Invitational in Barton Hall.
Noelle Elkinton (13.87m), Claire Springer (13.77m) and Charli Stewart (12.97m) took the top three spots in the shot put. Avery Hastings took first in the weight throw with a mark of 17.09m.
Avery Hilliard finished first in the pole vault with a mark of 4.10m while Lauren Cashman placed fourth with a mark of 3.80 to land in tenth in Cornell record books.
Anika Sukumar won the triple jump with a mark of 12.21m and moved herself into ninth in Cornell record books.
Belle Bennett ran the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.93 to take first in the event.
Jordanne Nichols was first in the 400m with a time of 1:01.18, Riley Ebersole placed first in the 600m with a time of 1:39.56 and Takiya Henson took first in the 200m in a time of 25.08.
Other top three finishes include Skyy Johnson placing third in the 60m, Kate Fenwick finishing third in the 400m, Noelle Elkinton was third in the weight throw, Sky Johnson and Sade Falese were second and third in the long jump and Quincy Hansen finished third in the pole vault.

Augustine Haquet, Reyne Rodrigues, Katja Jackson and Gwen Parks placed fourth with a school record in the distance medley relay with a time of 11:04.36 at the Alex Wilson Invitational. The women are currently ranked 24th in the NCAA in this event.

Cornell host the Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships on March 1-2 in Barton Hall. The meet will be broadcast on ESPN+ for both days of competition.
