HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - Cornell women's ice hockey alumni
Izzy Daniel '24 has been added to the U.S. Women's National Team roster for the final two games of the 2024-25 Rivalry Series, USA Hockey announced on Monday evening.
Daniel was a third round draft choice of the Toronto Screptures (PWHL) following a stellar career on East Hill for the Big Red. She finished her career with 158 points on 51 goals and 107 assists. In her senior campaign, she captured conference and national honors by winning the Ivy League Player of The Year, ECAC Hockey Player of The Year honor, and First Team All-America to go along with being the first Cornellian to become the Patty Kazmaiar Memorial award recipient.

The 2024-25 Rivalry Series is a five-game series with Canada currently holding a 2-1 advantage. Game four is Thursday (Feb. 6) at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, while game five is set for the Credit Union Place in Summerside, P.E.I., on Saturday (Feb. 8). Both contests can be seen live on NHL Network with opening faceoff set for 7 p.m. local time/6 p.m. ET.
