LEWISBURG, Pa. – Cornell men's track and field team found success in multiple events at the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
In the pole vault invite, Kegan Mancabelli cleared an impressive 4.86m to secure second place. Ryan Brynjofson followed with a strong 4.71m mark in the open, placing third before the event was unexpectedly suspended mid-competition due to weather. Over at the high jump, Brynjofson notched another top finish, claiming fourth place with a solid jump of 1.98m.
In the throws, Peter Northrup launched the shot put 17.36m to earn fourth place, continuing his consistent season.
The mile was a tightly contested event for Cornell, with Michael Dizon-Bumann leading the charge in third place with a time of 4:20.71. He was closely followed by Luka Bork in fourth (4:20.87) and Tyler Patterson in eighth (4:21.81).
Cornell also made a strong showing in the 5000m, led by Rithikh Prakash, who clocked a fast 14:15.21 for third place. He was followed closely by Aryan Abbaraju in fourth (14:19.26) and Jake Gelfand in seventh (14:21.53).
In the 1500m, Colin Martens finished fifth in 3:56.79, and Tyler Tisinger clocked 1:51.91 in the 800 meters, placing 10th.
Jack Lenz ran a steady race in the 3000m, placing 11th with a time of 8:46.89. In the hurdles, Teddy Rauchway finished 15th in the 110-meter hurdles (15.06), and Jack Daly ran 54.86 in the 400-meter hurdles, also placing 15th.
