Brown won the event with 4994 points placing first in three of the seven events and moving into the third slot on Cornell's top 10 in the Heptathlon. She won the 100m hurdles (13.93), shot put (11.11m) and high jump at a mark of 1.70m to also land in 10th all time.

Hackett set a new personal-best in the men's 800 meters, storming to a 1:47.40 finish that not only won his heat, but also set a new school record, took over the Ivy League lead time, and placed him No. 25 nationally in the NCAA.
