PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Cornell women's track and field add three more marks to the history books to finish the weekend at the Penn Relays.
Leading the way was Avery Hilliard, who delivered a career-best performance in the pole vault. Hilliard cleared 4.31m, setting a new personal record and ranking her 10th in the East Region according to the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Outdoor Poll.
Also excelling in the pole vault, Quincy Hansen placed eighth tying her personal-best mark of 4.11m. Hansen's clearance moves her up to third on Cornell's all-time outdoor list.
On the track, the women's 4x800 meter relay team of Augustine Haquet, Katja Jackson, Tenley Nelson, and Gwen Parks combined for a time of 8:42.42, placing ninth overall. Their time ranks sixth in Cornell women's track and field history.
