ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell women's squash sophomore
Xin Ying Yee has been named a First Team All-American, as announced by the College Squash Association on May 2.
Finishing the season with a 13-3 record in dual matches, Yee ended the year with an overall mark of 16-4 after winning her first three matches at the CSA Individual Championships in late January.
Yee's .813 win percentage in dual matches was 229 points higher than the Big Red's second-place finisher,
Sabine Ball (7-5 - .583), and she had five more victories than
Aishwarya Khubchandani,
Alysa Ali, and
Maya Voloshin, who all finished the year with 8-8 records.
It marks the sixth consecutive season that Cornell has had a CSA First Team All-American, alongside four-time First Team All-American Sivasangari Subramaniam (2019, 2020, 2022, 2023) and two-time First Team All-American
Wen Li Lai (2022, 2024).
The Big Red has now had at least one CSA All-American in 12 of the last 14 seasons, featuring four-time first-team selection Danielle Letourneau (2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015), three-time second-team honoree Jaime Laird (2011, 2012, 2013), two-time second-team selection Jesse Pacheco (2013 and 2014), as well as Michelle Garceau (second team in 2017).
Cornell concluded the 2024-25 season with a 7-9 overall record and 2-4 mark in Ivy League play. The Big Red finished the year ranked No. 8 in the CSA rankings.
