Women's Track and Field Catches Up on First Round of Field Events

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Women's track and field completed their first round of field events on Friday morning at the NCAA East Preliminaries.

Noelle Elkinton fired the shot put 15.20m on her second attempt to finish 31st overall in the field.

Avery Hilliard and Quincy Hansen started off the morning for the Big Red with the pole vault. Hilliard cleared a 3.94m mark to place 29th in the competition. Hansen did not record a height.

UP NEXT

Margaux Rawson and Augustine Haquet continue competition on Saturday with the high jump, 1500m and 5000m.
