ITHACA, N.Y. -- Recent Cornell men's basketball players continue to make waves on the national and international scene. Here are some recent highlights:
Chris Manon '24
Manon averaged 11.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.8 steals in five games at the NBA 2K26 Summer League for the Golden State Warriors. The former Big Red and Vanderbilt star shot 50 percent from the floor overall and from 3-point range and 66 percent from the free-throw line. He scored 17 points with five rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocks in a win over Cleveland and 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks against Toronto. Manon signed a two-way NBA contract with the Los Angeles Lakers on July 21.Â
Matt Morgan '19
Morgan led Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague to the team's 17th Italian championship, sweeping Germani Brescia 3-0 in the finals. The team took 17th overall in the EuroLeague with Morgan averaging 10.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists on 47-44-85 shooting for a team that featured former NBA players Marco Belinelli, Tornike Shengelia, Ante Žižić and Justin Holliday. He averaged 10.7 points and 3.3 rebounds in the championship round.
Jimmy Boehiem '21
Played for BC Gottingen of the Germany Easy Credit BBL where he averaged 9.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 31 contests with 14 double figure games and one double-double. That closed out his third professional season and second in the German A League. Boeheim is playing this summer for the Boeheim's Army team in the TBT, scoring 10 points with five rebounds and three assists in its first round win over the Herkimer Originals.
