ALBANY, N.Y. — The Cornell women's volleyball team closed out their weekend at the UAlbany Invitational on a high note, taking down Canisius in four sets (3–1).
Senior outside and right side hitter Eliza Konvicka powered the offense with a match-high 19 kills, while junior Ava Bogan anchored the defense at the net with 7 blocks. Senior setter Doga Ozalp kept the attack rolling, finishing with 26 assists.
With the win, Cornell went 2–1 on the weekend, building momentum as they head back to Ithaca.
The Big Red return to action on Tuesday, September 9, hosting their home opener at Newman Arena inside Bartels Hall. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
