ITHACA, N.Y. - Cornell posted a perfect 4-0 record Saturday at the David Michanik Penn Invitational, taking down NYU, UC San Diego, Penn State, and the host Quakers.
The BIg Red's most decisive win came against NYU by the final of 21-6. All three weapons posted over 20 wins on the day with the Epee squad posting a 25-11 record, followed by Foil at 24-12 and Sabre at 23-13. Cornell finished the day with a 72-36 individual record.
The Epee squad was led by
Ketki Ketkar and
Katherine Alexandrov who both posted records of 8-3.
Brianna Lee and
Mia Jo also posted 8-3 marks in foil, while
Isabela Carvalho finished the day with a 7-3 mark in sabre.
Cornell resumes action tomorrow at the Tufts Invitational in Medford, Mass.
