Sprint Football Places League-Best 22 On CSFL All-Academic Team

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell sprint football team put a league-high 22 student-athletes on the 2025 CSFL All-Academic Team. Senior Ian Applegate led the way as one of just four student-athletes across the CSFL to post a grade point average of 4.0 or above.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must a) have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher; b) appeared in at least one contest for the nominated season; c) be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically; d) and must have completed at least two semesters at their current institution.
