PRINCETON, N.J. – Cornell women's fencing went 0-3 on day one of the Ivy League Championships, falling to Harvard (17-10), Columbia (21-6) and Brown (14-13).
Both the Big Red sabre and epee squads posted identical 12-15 marks on the day, while the foil squad posted a combined 5-22 record.
Ketki Ketkar finished an impressive 8-1 in her epee bouts and currently sits atop the individual leaderboard. Isabella Carvalho went 6-2 to lead the sabre squad, and
Lana Lee went 3-6, totaling the most wins in foil for the Big Red.

Cornell will take on Princeton, Yale and Penn on the second and final day of the Ivy Championships. Competition begins at 9 a.m. against the Tigers.
