Ketkar Wins Women’s Epee Individual Title as Cornell Concludes Ivy Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - Cornell senior Ketki Ketkar won the Ivy League individual title in epee, becoming the first in program history to win an individual title in any weapon at the conference championships. 

Ketkar, who posted an 8-1 record on day one, went 4-1 on day two to finish 12-2 overall in epee competition. She led the epee squad that went 10-17 overall on Sunday.

The sabre squad went 10-17 overall on day two of the championships, with Isabela Carvalho finishing 10-5 overall on the weekend, including a 4-3 record on Sunday, earning second team All-Ivy honors.

In foil, Cornell posted a 7-20 overall record on Sunday with Lana Lee collecting three wins to finish the championship weekend 6-12 overall.

Cornell will send a maximum of 12 competitors to NCAA Northeast Regional on Sunday, March 8.
