Josh Baldwin has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team. He now advances to the ballot for Academic All-America honors.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 GPA and play in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
Baldwin averaged 7.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 18.9 minutes per contest while playing in 26 contests (13 starts) during the 2025-26 campaign. He ranked ninth in the Ivy League in assists per game while adding 12 blocks and 12 steals. He started the final 13 games of his Cornell career and helped the Big Red overcome an 0-3 Ivy start to make Ivy Madness for the fifth consecutive year, punctuating a 15-13 campaign.
At the head of one of the nation's top offenses, Baldwin had 10 double-figure scoring efforts on the season. He scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting in a home win over Princeton, then handed out a season-high nine assists against Penn the next night. Baldwin recorded his first collegiate double-double with season highs of 19 points and 10 rebounds in a road win at Columbia, hitting 11-of-12 free throws.
