Lightweight Rowing Drops Platt Cup and Harriott Trophy To Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Cornell lightweight rowing team faced the Princeton Tigers for the Platt Cup and Harriott Trophy on Saturday morning at Lake Carnegie.The Tigers claimed both the Platt Cup  and Harriott Trophy for their victories in both varsity eight events.

The Big Red placed second in the varsity eight with a time of 6:09.847 behind Princeton (6:05.563). In the second varsity eight, Cornell also finished second, crossing in 6:50.450 to Princeton's 6:26.590.
