ITHACA, N.Y. -- The 31st-ranked Cornell men's tennis team continued its dominant stretch with a 4-0 sweep of Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon at the Reis Tennis Center. The Big Red improved to 16-3 (4-1 Ivy), while Dartmouth fell to 15-9 (3-2 Ivy).

Cornell dropped the opening doubles match but quickly rebounded to secure the point. Rethin Pranav Senthil Kumar and Rushil Khosla evened things with a 6-4 win at No. 2, and Petar Teodorovic and Felipe Pinzon followed with another 6-4 victory at No. 3 to give the Big Red a 1-0 lead.

The Big Red carried that momentum into singles, winning the first three completed matches in straight sets. At No. 3, Teodorovic delivered a dominant 6-0, 6-4 victory over Yujiro Onuma to extend the lead. Aman Sharma followed with a 6-3, 6-4 win against Denny Bao at No. 6, putting Cornell one point from clinching. The match was sealed at the top of the lineup, where 98th-ranked Rodrigo Fernandes defeated Henry Ren 6-1, 7-5 to secure the fourth point.

Matches at Nos. 2, 4 and 5 were left unfinished.

The victory marked Cornell's 11th win in its last 12 matches, including seven wins over ranked opponents, as the Big Red continue to surge through Ivy League play.

Cornell's win sets up a pivotal showdown with No. 41 Harvard on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Reis Tennis Center, with sole possession of second place in the Ivy League standings on the line.
