ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell women's rowing senior
Isabella Capelli and junior
Elise Rueppel received All-Ivy League honors, the Ivy League announced Thursday morning (May 21), based on the results from last weekend's 2026 Ivy League Women's Rowing Championships at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken Township, N.J.
Capelli, a native of Diablo, Calif., earned First Team All-Ivy recognition. The senior served as one of Cornell's two captains this season and stroked the Big Red's 1V8+ throughout the spring campaign. First Team honors were awarded to three members of the championship-winning 1V8+, two members of the second-place boat, and one member each from the third-through-eighth place boats and the coxswain of the first-place 1V8+.
Rueppel was named to the Second Team All-Ivy and earned Academic All-Ivy honors. A native of Dover, Mass., Rueppel was recognized for her achievements in the classroom and on the water, maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.822 while majoring in earth and atmospheric sciences.
