ITHACA, N.Y. - Cornell women's ice hockey and Everett Family Head Coach of Women's Ice Hockey, Doug Derraugh announced the program's 2026 incoming class, a group of nine student-athletes who will join the Big Red ahead of the 2026 season.

"We really like the mix of student athletes in our incoming class. They have a lot of character, passion, and energy both on and off the ice. On the ice, we feel we have added some size, skill, and grit, both to our D corps and up front. They will make an immediate impact on our program. We are very excited", Derraugh mentioned.

Rachel Bishop
Defense • Conroe, TexasBaie-D'Urfé, Quebec • Kent School

Named to the All-NEPSAC Team in 2025… helped Kent School capture the Founders League Championship in 2023-24… earned Kent School Defensive MVP honors in 2025… won a USA Hockey National Championship with the Mid Fairfield CT Stars in 2023.

Taya Lonsdale
Forward • Shawnigan Lake, BC • Shawnigan Lake HS

Represented Team BC and earned bronze medals at the Canadian National Championships in 2023 and 2024… participated in the U18 Female Hockey Canada Invitational Selection Camp in 2024… earned CSSHL U18 Female MVP honors in 2025… was nominated for CSSHL U18 Female Best Defenceman in 2024… helped her team claim CSSHL U18 Female silver medals in 2023 and 2024 and a bronze medal in 2022… earned the Golden Boot Award in senior soccer in 2024.

Zahra Nauhaus
Forward • Pittsburgh, Penn. • Shattuck St. Marys

Played four seasons at Shattuck-St. Mary's as a forward ... helped Shattuck-St. Mary's capture the 2024 U16 National Championship.

Keira Bruen
Forward • West Roxbury, Mass. • Boston Latin / Phillips Academy (Andover)

Served as hockey team captain at Phillips Academy Andover… helped Phillips Academy win consecutive NEPSAC Class A Field Hockey Championships in 2024 and 2025… also captured a Big East Championship in softball.

Carly Dann
Defense • Hanover, N.H. • The Loomis Chaffee School

Played four years of hockey at The Loomis Chaffee School… helped lead Loomis Chaffee to three Founders League championships (2024, 2025, 2026) and back-to-back NEPSAC championships (2025, 2026)… earned All-Founders League honors in 2025 and All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention recognition in 2026… competed for the East Coast Wizards Hockey club program… also lettered four years in field hockey, earning All-Founders League honors in 2024 and 2026… was a four-time High Honor Roll student from 2023-26.

Jill McLaughlin
Forward • Oceanside, Calif. • Pacific Ridge School

Represented Team USA and won the 2026 IIHF Championship… served as assistant captain for the U19AAA San Diego Angels during the 2023-24 season… also served as assistant captain for Pacific Ridge School during the 2023-24 season… earned High School All-Star Team recognition in 2024.

Taia MacDonald
Defense • Toronto, Ontario • Toronto French School

Competed for the Mississauga Jr. Hurricanes of the OWHA U22 Elite league… served as an assistant captain during the 2025-26 season… earned a bronze medal at the 2026 OWHA U22 Provincial Championship… won a bronze medal with Team Ontario at the 2025 U18 Canadian National Championship… was invited to the 2025 Team Canada U18 Summer Showcase… earned Honour Roll recognition from Grades 9-12 and was named to the Principal's List in Grade 11 for maintaining a 95 percent average or better.

Renee Bishop
